As sama as others tribe in Sumatra Island, Rejang Tribe used tobe betel nut for ceremony or in daily also. Rejang people call the betel nut set made from brass (keningen : rejang language) as Cerano.
This is a few Cerano to be show in Curup Town 129th anniversarry set out, this cerano or betel nut was using by rejangese in long time ago, but I believe the cerano not come from rejang land origin.
I think, it was imported by influence trading performance from India, thailand or pakistan in sumatra long long time ago. Who know more information? please tell us :)
